Speak Out for Engineering Preliminaries 2021

The HWUM IMechE Speak Out for Engineering Preliminaries has come to an end on 25th June 2021.

The panel of judges includes Dr. Mohd Fareez Edzuan bin Abdullah and Ms. Naziha binti Yahya who are lecturers from Heriot-Watt University Malaysia, as well as Mr. Marcus Ooi from the HWUM Toastmasters Club.

We are delighted to have Kiwan Anak Richard as the winner and our representative to the Nationals. Kiwan's speech 'Keep Moving Forward: Lessons Learnt From An Engineering Design Project' took a special approach to walk us through his project. The eye-opening speech from the runner-up Michael Tong Choon Kit had also obtained praise from the judges and audiences. His speech on Quantum Computer Applications provided different perspectives on its usage in various fields.
