1: The Student Chapter
A student chapter acts as a small branch of IMechE in a university and/or institution, being responsible for organising events for engineering students at the campus. These events can include talks, trips, workshops and competitions. Besides events that take place on-campus, inter-student chapter events can also take place on a national/regional scale. On an international scale, various events have been organised by IMechE themselves for students to participate in, including their Design Challenge and Speak Out for Engineering competitions. The student chapter will aid any student member who wishes to participate in an international event.
